Can A Head Injury Cause Minor Concussion And Headaches?
i hit my head pretty hard the other day while snowboarding. I was wearing a helmet, but it has been almost four days now since the incident. i still have a slight headache, and my head most deffinitely hurts every time i cough or sneeze. do you think this could be the result of a minor concussion or something?
Hello It seems from the history that you had a head injury following which you are having symptoms like slight headache on coughing or sneezing. The presence of slight headache is not significant as this can be because of muscle injury. You need to worry if there are symptoms like severe headache associated with vomiting, loss of memory, dizziness, bleeding from ear or nose at the time of injury... If you had these symptoms you need to get examination to rule out concussion head injury.
Thank you
