Can A Large Bump Under The Elbow Be A Spider Bite?

I have this large golf ball size bump on my forearm under my elbow. Kind of sore when I touch it and hard I the center. There is no puss or redness and I don t see any bite marks, but I was pulling weeds in the garden the other day. Could this be a spider bite? If so, why can I put on it?

Hello,

Most spider bites are not of concern and not poisonous and the poisonous ones would cause more generalized and severe symptoms.
Very likely you are having a bursitis or a ganglion cyst (this is rare) which is a sack with the fluids that come out of the joint and gets irritated especially in certain movements that stress it.

Seeing a doctor will help confirm the diagnosis and giving the right treatment.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
