Can A Lump On Scalp Due To Injury Lead To Bald Spot ?

hello doctors, 4 hours ago, when i m playing basketball, my opponent accidentally elbowed me on scalp (head) now it is red... it has lump/bump on my scalp, and it is red. it is painful when touched. i have put ice on it a while ago.. there is no headache or nausea .. my question is, is this can lead to bald spot? thanks

Some hair may be fallen due to traction by the elbowing trauma but there will usually be no bald spot. Don't worry. If you develop any nausea, blurred vision, you should be taken to Doctor, but it is best you get a consult to rule out any mild fractures also.

Don`t worry it will subside with in few days without any loss of hair ,or hair will regrow with in little time .Have analgesic & antibiotics for few days.
