Can A Nerve Damage Caused During A Back Surgery Be Repaired?

My gastroc muscle in my right leg has atrophied as a result of nerve damage after back surgery. I also have pain in my right foot . I have tried physics therapy and lyrica for the pain. Is there anything that can repair the nerve damage that has occurred most probably at the s-1, l-5 level?

The pain associated can be managed with Pregabalin, physiotherapy and opioids. Nerve repair and healing requires time and may not lead to a full in recovery.

Hope I have answered your query.
