Can A Pacemaker Cause A 51 Yr Old To Have Hot Flashes?

I am 51 yrs old and had a pacemaker put in Jan 13th. within a week of having it put in, I started having massive hotflashes. My regular family doctor upped my estradiol from .5mg to 1 mg 2 weeks ago and Im still suffering horribly. Im usually VERY cold natured. I feel like a volcano is erupting inside of me and cant stand anything touching me when im having a hotflash, then as soon as its over, Im cold again. I sweat profusely and can not sleep due to them. Its NOT just one or two a day either. Is there a connection between the two?

Dear madam, Your symptoms are not realted to pacemaker. Its due to post menopausal symptoms ( i.e due to hormonal fluctuations after reaching menopause ). kindly consult gynaecologist.
