General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think hearing loss can happen because of an ear bump outside the ear.
This can be just an infected but and using some ear drops like boric acid can help disinfect it.
Also use acetaminophen for pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
