Can A Partial Rotator Cuff Tear Be Treated Non Surgically?

I have a partial rotator cuff tear and a labrum tear What are the chances I can get away with not having surgery? I did PT initially before they finally did the MRI and found the tears. I think the PT may have made it worse. The pain is terrible. Thoughts?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per the narration of the issue, the pain is terrible and I do not predict an outcome with conservative treatment without surgery.

I strongly recommend to get surgery at earliest to loss further functional ability.

Wish you great day.

Thanks.
