Can A Person Diagnosed With Dyshidrotic Eczema Work Outdoors?

Hello, we have just received a letter from a dermatologist, advising that an employee with dyshidrotic eczema has permanent restrictions from working outdoors. Can you please help guide us with respect to specific restrictions and limitations with this diagnosis. Her job duties involved construction like activities on gas utility worksites. Thank you.

Hi,

The ultraviolet rays in sunlight can be beneficial in dyshydrostic eczema. So such person can work out doors with sunny weather.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
