Can A Person Who Has Recovered From A Heart Attack Take Care Of An 8-year-old Child?

Hi! After having a heart attack and being sent home. Would it be okay to look after a 8yrs old child My Ex new boyfriend just had heart attack and my daughter was left at home with him today. I m quite concerned about her safety. He s not allowed to work or drive how is it okay to look after a 8yrs old? I had said I would pick her up but was told not to because he could watch her. I really want to just go pick her up but did want to cause a problem. What s your thoughts on this? Thanks for your time.
