A recent marble sized blister popped leaving dark skin in that area is it infected. Upon popping, it was a almost water like consistency with a a vertical cut across the blister. It popped again when I clenched my toe releasing more serum but this time with blood.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is common to have blisters at the feet, especially due to shoe trauma. Try to keep the area clean and do not pop the lesions as it may cause infection.

If the blister and the area where it happened do not heal in a week or you notice any worsening with redness or swelling you will need to see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
