Can A Pregnancy Test Be Negative But I Still Miss My Period?

I am currently a week late for my period, I should have gotten it January 26th. I took a pregnancy test Jan 29th and it was negative, I took another test on the Feb 1st and it was also negative. Lately I have been more tired then usual, very moody, and my appetite has increased also. I have had mild cramping making me think I'm going to start my period but I don't. I have also had clear discharge almost everyday. I was wondering if I should take another test or just wait and see if I get my period? And what are the chances of me being pregnant with two negative pregnancy tests?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Home pregnancy test of urine is effective after 8-10 days of delay in periods. Both the tests you did were a bit premature.
Though there are conditions where periods can stop in spite of pregnancy test s -ve. still your symptoms do suggest pregnancy. So before coming to any conclusion,
You are suggested to repeat test after 4 more days.
