Can A Scratch By A Fish Bone In The Throat Create Problem In The Operated Place?

I swallowed a codfish bone; it got stuck. I could not swallow. My husband yanked it out. Throat was scratched and painful for several days. I was recovering from bariatric surgery and could not eat my protein or drink the required fluids. How could that have screwed up my recovery from the surgery?

The commonest place where it can stuck is in the tonsillar area and in posterior pharyngeal wall. It can also get stuck in th pyriform fossa in the larynx. As u told tht ur husband u hve taken it out and if it completely out then there is no problem otherwise it can leads to abscess formation in the afected area
