Can A Tender, Crusty Spot On The Right Forearm Indicate Melanoma?

I hzve a raised area onmy right forearm that started as just a swelling a couple of weeks ago but has now become tender with a crusty top. I have numerouse precancerous crusty spots all over my back, arms, and chest as a result of childhood sun exposure. Is there a chance this could be melanoma?

Hello there,
cancerous lesions can only be confirmed by biopsy and cytological studies. you need to worry about the lesions when there is change in size , margins and colour
Melanoma has irregular margins, size and variegated colour and increase in depth. otherwise u can follow up with a dermatologist
