Can throat swab detects cancer. I have some pinkish pimple like thing which is painless. I used to chew betel nuts earlier also I smoke. I checked with the ENT specialist. Firstly he told me that it is submucous fibrosis with phyringjitis. He wrote some test CBC BSR and throat swab. Bsr is normal my uric acid us little bit higher. In throat swab some throat infection have found. For which he prescribed livofloxacin 500mg for seven days. But i afraid of of cancer because i have some betel nut chewing history.help me
