Can A Thyroid Patient Take Vitamin Supplements?

hello am a hypothyroid patient Male 28 years and suffering with slow hair growth and dark and puffy face and skin with blemishes scars. Can i take vitamin e capsules(evion 400iu per day) safely does it help me to overcome my problem and also i would like to know that will it increases weight. What is the duration for taking these supplement. CAn a thyroid patient like me take these external supplement internally. thanx
