I was cleaning my grandma s house and saw needles I have a baby cousin that comes over frequently so I closed the unused container and then I saw the container with used needles my grandmothers boyfriend Is diabetic but I don t know what type he has when. I went to close the used needles the lid wouldn t close so I held it down and hit it then I felt a pain in my Palm and say a needle. I pulled it out but he pierced skin and maid me bleed I quickly washed my hand and poured rubbing alcohol on it. I m scared cause I don t know what can happen I m 13 so please respond ASAP

Dear friend, Need not worry. If the patient is diabetic, nothing is going to effect you. You only get Tetanus injection done.
But, If the person is having any disease like HIV or Hepatitis B, then you need to consult local physician and get the post exposure prophylaxis done. But in general, I don't expect that the person have them. Only Diabetes is no way concern.
