Can A Vitamin Deficiency Cause Severe Bleeding From Wounds?

My daughter fell and scraped the top of her foot. It left a place on her foot a little larger than a dime. She hit it on something and the scab came off. I am worried because she bled A LOT when it came off. Now every time she bumps it it bleeds really bad and I have to hold her down and put pressure on it to make it stop pouring. She has never had any problem with bleeding easily before, could she have a vitamin deficiency?
