Can Abdominal Pain And Bleeding Be Symptoms Of Miscarriage?

Hi.. I need to know what I can do until my doctor has an available apointment for me.. I have already been to the ER and all they did was prescribe pain meds... I was punched in the stomach and since then i have had severe bleeding (that started 10 minutes after impact) and started having severe stomach pains.. the ER doc said it could be a miscarriage but he didn't know.. what can I do to lessen the swelling and pain? I have already tried ice and tylenol
