Can Abnormal High Eye Pressure Be Related To A Cervical Spine Nerve Irritation At The C2 Level Which Could Be Affecting The Optic Nerve?

I have cervical spinal stenosis and I also have abnormal high eye pressure. The doctors are not sure what is causing the high eye pressure. I have lost my central vision in my right eye. I also have herniated discs on the left side of my neck. Could the eye pressure be related to a cervical spine nerve irritation at the c2 level that could be affecting the optic nerve?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having cervical spinal stenosis and abnormal eye pressure. Since you have mentioned that you have lost central vision, this indicates that this is probably papilledema because of elevated intracranial pressure.
This requires evaluation and treatment by neurologist and ophthalmogist or neurophthalmologist.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
