Can Acid Reflux Cause Blood In Stool?

I have been having severe burning right below the esophagus causing really bad deep burning hiccups. They get so bad they actually make me vomit at times because of the burning. After having an endoscopy he couldn t find anything wrong? I also had a colonscopy at the same time n I have hems. Lately ive had quite abit of blood in the stool everytime I go to the bathroom. I m really not sure what to do now if they couldn t find anything wrong with either test? My stomach stays bloated all the time as well. Thanks, Brock Heath

Hi,

As you say you are having haemorrhoids. This can explain blood in the stool. Please visit a General Surgeon for treatment.

The other symptoms are really indicative of laryngopharyngeal reflux or simply known as acidity. Start taking an antacid before food. Make life style modification. Avoid spicy food. Sleep 2 hours after food.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
