Can Addiction To Pain Killers Cause White Spots At The Back Of The Throat?

Over the summer i got hurt wad guven perkz and became another cliche.....i got addicted to the pain meds.Over time i stared to take more then directed by doctor because of a high tolerance. Soon after the snorting began.Its been almost 2 years of this vicious cycle and im now worried ive damaged my ears nose and throat.I have a gross white spot on back of my throat, my sinuses hurt after i clean my nose after snorting. Ive looked myself and know ut does not look right. The pain is unbearable especially at night time. Please help. Im embarassed alone and scared

It would be of great help if you can send me a picture of your throat where the white spot is located.

From what you are reporting, it might be bacterial infection of the throat (tonsillitis). You should see ENT specialist for further evaluation.

Throat swab culture and sensitivity testing is highly recommended to determine the right causative agent.
