Can Air Travel Be Safe During Pregnancy?

I am a 29 yearold female with uterus didelphys. I just found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant. I am scheduled to fly to Las Vegas (currently living in Washington DC) in 2 weeks for a weekend. Is it safe for me to fly given the two uteruses? Am I at a greater risk of miscarriage if I fly?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Air travel is not advisable in first trimester of pregnancy, as there are increased chances of early pregnancy loss and bleeding or spotting. Moreover, the chances of miscarriage in uterine anomalies like uterine didelphys is more than the normal uterus.
I would suggest you to avoid air travel in first trimester of pregnancy, if possible.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
