Can Alcohol Be Consumed While Suffering From Fatty Liver?
I have been sick for a month unable to digest lost 15 pounds in 2 months. My left upper side was hurting the doctor set me for an ultrasound I have an enlarged spleen and fatty liver he wants me to see the upper GI doctor asap. Will it hurt to drink at all. Every evening with a little bit of dinner they have a drink of rum and coke. Assume it is not good to drink any more. Is that correct? And this enlarged spleen rupture I m very sick hurts a lot my stomach and where the spleen is.

Fatty liver is a predisposing condition for cirrhosis. You should not use alcohol and it will definitely worsen your liver condition.
