A lot of alcohol is bad for one's health. At very high levels it can directly poison the heart and produce heart failure even without any blockages. IT does not, however, make blockages in the heart arteries nor make the arteries worse. Can complicate the control of diabetes quite a bit and lead to both too much OR too little sugar.
