Can Alcoholism Cause Smelly Breath?
My family complains that I smell like "rubber." I'm an alcoholic who drinks five or more beers a night...I've had a problem with drinking since my early 20s. I have high blood pressure, an unhealed five-year-old burn on my ankle, and a gynecomastia. I smoke. They say the odor sometimes lingers until the next day, when I'm sober. What causes the "rubber" smell? Is my liver failing? I am a 58 yr old man. I weigh 264 lbs and I'm 5'8".

Smoking, alcohol these are the cause of these smell coming from your breath and you really need to cut this down and this would be much better for your health and in this way people would come near to you, this is not the failing of liver right now but this could be in coming days, so take care.
