Can Alternative Treatment Help Huge Bloating With GI Tract Problem?

Hi Dr., My 94 year old mother is having great trouble with her GI tract. Has been hospitalized 10 days. Sigmoidoscopy, enemas, laxatives, etc. Huge bloating and distension (looks 7 months pregnant - she s 94). They can t find any blockage and her intestines are not moving her stool down and out. I was wondering about accupuncture or some other alternative treatment.

I really appreciate your concern, from the history given I could say that this may not need any alternative treatment may need some investigation to rule out the cause of distension and CT abdomen is the best way, hope this information helps take care and have a nice day.
