Can An MRI Scan Cause Delay In Periods?

I had my first MRI scan on my foot over a week ago. I am on the pill and have a regular period like clockwork. This month my period is delayed. Could this be a result of the MRI scan and should I go back on the pill after 7 days even after not having my period.

Hi,

I do not think that MRI can delay period.
Period may be delayed by any disease you are having or any drug you are taking.
Usually a period occurs within the 72 hr period of the last pill.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
