I am a 45 year old female. At 33, I was diagnosed with a 17 mm left middle cranial fossa arachnoid cyst (left sylvian fissure). The cyst has not grown over the years. For years I ve suffering from vertigo, ringing in my ears, poor balance, some difficulty breathing, and at times, difficulty swallowing. These symptoms come and go. I ve seen two neurologists but neither one has explained if my symptoms are because of the arachnoid cyst. Can you please give me your opinion on this? Also, does this type of arachnoid cyst grow over time? If I can live with the symptoms, is it better to do that instead of treating it? If I were to have it treated, what are my treatment options? Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Regards, Tania
