General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is possible that her autoimmune status played a role in her miscarriage. Some persons with one autoimmune condition may also have traits related to other autoimmune diseases as well. She may need to be assessed by a fertility specialist to determine if there is a specific underlying cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
