Can An Eye Infection Caused By Spray Paint Lead To Eye Pain And Headaches?

I was spraying with a spray paint can my eyes were effected by the over spray, now i have eye aches and headaches,,,its been 4 days . on the first day i went to my ophthalmologist complaining of a couple floaters in my right eye and told him about the spray paint exposure. He did two tests in his office a pressure test and a dilatation test. The Dr. said most likely posterior virtuous detachment. My eye and headaches continue, should I go back to him and tell him, maybe the paint has caused a infection in the inner eye...My eyes look fine.

Hello,

Any infection in the eye will cause severe reaction and redness so eyes won't look fine . A posterior vitreous detachment doesn't usually cause eye ache . but a headache can cause eye ache . I would advise you to use artificial tear drops for four times a day for a week and see a physician for the headache .

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
