Can An Ovarian Cyst Cause Stomach And Abdomen Bloating?

I was diagnosed with a 9 cm cyst/tumor on my left ovary. I had no symptoms before except cramping when i had a bowel movement. Now my stomach and abdomen feels bloated and sore, and is intensified with each step i take. My laparoscopy will be in 2 weeks. Also, i have a chronic cough to complicate matters. Why am i having these symptoms now?

hello mam. i read your query.. its not the cyst / tumor causing your abdomen bloated. its due to inflammation and fluid collection causing your abdomen bloated.
and you said you just have cramping before consulting doctor and now its started coughing so please consult them again and explain your symptoms.
they will do required examinations like blood profile and usg abdomen to know the status of fluid and ovarian cyst growth. laproscopy will give excellent results than any other so dont worry about it mostly it is diagnostic at first but if they find something abnormal and need surgery it will become surgical laprotomy with your concern only.
most of your symptoms are due to increased pressure in your abdomen due to inflammatory fluid. once laproscopy done they will depressurize and symptoms get relieved. i cant exactly say what is the diagnosis bcoz ineed to have many investigation reports to confirm.
we have pretty good treatment ways (both medical and surgical) to correct your problem. please dont worry you will be normal with in few days.
