Can Anaesthesia Or Pain Killers Cause Tiredness?

my husband had a general anaesthetic 2 weeks ago. with heavy painkillers afterwards. He stopped the diclophinac last thursday. He is very very tired. the operation didn't help the pain. could his tiredness be a result of the anaesthetic? Or the painkillers? Or the pain?
