Can Anesthesia Cause Numbness In Lower Limbs After Surgery?

I had surgery a month ago which required the use of anesthesia. After the surgery, for the first 2 weeks, I had tingling or numbness in my lower left lip. The partial numbness and tingling sensation has since gone away, however, my upper left eyelid continues to twitch alot. What effect does anesthesia have on this sort of thing? I feel the anesthesia is the root cause of this annoying problem.
