Can Aneurysm Cause Painful Indentation?

I have a indentation on my head (left side) it is long and about 3 inches in lengt and 1 in width. It hurts to the touch, and my head kind of throbs here and there not chronic pain but comes and goes. My forehead also hurts, would this be an aneurysm?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The way you are explaining it I don’t think so. Aneurysms are compressible and come back when relieved. Rather it may be some lipoma or sebaceous cyst.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. B.dinesh
