Can Anger And Confusion Issues Be Caused By Working With Toxic Chemicals?

There is a young man who works in a metal processing facility - near all sort of toxic chemicals (chrome, paints, solvents and acids of all types - he is undergoing some anger and confusion issues at present. Could this be related to breathing the fumes eight hours per day for years?

Such chemicals usually effect on body and if he has some physical problem in form of respiratory or cardiac or any ailment, that chances of getting mental disorder due to chemical fumes is very high.
