Can Antibiotics Be Taken Along With Blood Thinners?

My wife is taking eliquis for blood clotting. She currently has a UTI and has been prescribed ciprofloxacin. Your description states there may be interactions with blood thinners - should we be concerned. Her regular physician prescribed both medications.

Hi,

Eliquis with Ciprofloxacin is a safe combination. not associated with any interaction effects. Some other antibiotics and antifungal with eliquis have certain interaction and side effects. you can continue your treatment with Ciprofloxacin as per prescription. no need to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
