Yes,
anxiety and
depression lead to physical exhaustion most of the times. It's because the mental exhaustion that is caused by anxiety that leads to physical exhaustion. Anxiety treatment is as follows:
1)
Psychotherapy includes cognitive and behavioral therapy
2) Medications like SSRIs, SNRIs, Atypical antidepressants and tricyclic antidepressants.
3) Keep physically active at least 30 mins of daily exercise for 5 days a week.
4) Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs.
5) Quit smoking and cut back or quit drinking caffeinated beverages.
6) Make sleep a priority.

Progressive muscle relaxation exercises are recommended
8) Eat healthy and balanced diet.
If your anxiety doesn't improve with above measures you can use the antidepressants like tab. Lexapro for at least 12 weeks. If your symptoms decrease, you can continue the medication. If no response, then we can increase the dose or change the medication. You are advised to take cognitive and behavioral therapy from a clinical
psychologist.
