Can Anxiety Or Stress Cause Headaches?

My son said he has pain behind his forehead bad headache. He had a very serious skull fracture two years ago and he also has general anxiety disorder. He has had an MRI and been examined by a doctor. Do you think its stress related headaches. Could he have cancer or some other brain problem?
