Can Anxiety While On Effexor Be Managed?

Hi, I took a 75mg Effexor XR capsule an hour ago, and it felt like it stuck to the back of my throat somewhere. I drank a 160z water bottle and have been drinking soda. I have anxiety and I m really worried that the pill might still be in my throat. What should I do? Is it really there or just feels like it? I m scared to eat because I m afraid it s going to get stuck due to the pill.
