hello! this afternoon, I brought my son s stool/poop to the hospital s laboratory to get examined, and the result shows the ff.: color: yellow consistency:soft pus cells:0-2/hpf red blood cells:0-1/hpf ova/parasites: no ova, cysts nor intestinal parasites seen bacteria: moderate can you help me interpret what does the result say? thank you and i m looking forward for a positive response..

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of stool result is:
The physical examination- color and consistency are within normal limits.
Presence of pus cells and red blood cells suggest presence of infection in the stools.
Absence of ova and cyst rules out the presence of parasite like amoeba, etc.
Presence of bacteria can be due to infection.
The presence of pus cells and bacteria both suggest presence of infection.
You need to consult your doctor with report for prescription of antibiotics.
