Can Appetite Loss After Radiotherapy For Lung And Brain Cancer Be Improved?
Hello, my dad has been diagnosed with cancer last summer stage one lung which he completed radiation for. He has since undergone the cyberknife procedure due to a brain tumor in dec. At present he is not taking any steroid meds or doing any chemo or radiation however, he has absolutely no appetite for over two weeks. we live in canada and are getting no help fromhis doctors other than telling us as long as he is drinking not to worry. we are worried which is why I am seeking your advise. thanks
Your dad can take appetite stimulant syrup to increase his appetite. I will also recommend protein shakes for him to improve his overall condition. Regards DR DE
