Can Artificial Sweetener Cause Excessive Saliva In Mouth?

When I eat or drink something with artificial sweetener in it, especially Splenda, my mouth begins to produce excessive amounts of saliva. Additionally, the sweeteners leave a very odd, chemical taste in my mouth. Am I experiencing an allergic or other dangerous reaction to the sweetener?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the excessive saliva secretion then it may not be due to artificial sweetener but it could be due to more acid secretion in gastric region and you can try, "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg" once in day hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
