Can Baking Soda Causes Tiny Blisters?

My son touched paint thiner! I immediacy poured a box of baking soda on his whole body, because I didn t know where he got it on him. Turns out on the corner of his mouth. There are tiny blister and it s very red. He sucks on a pacifier, so I m sure that doesn t help. How can I get it healed considering I can bandage?

hi
the blister can be a reaction to the paint thinner and the baking soda you applied to him.
avoid giving him the pacifier as it will make the blister worse.
you can give him a painkiller like brufen syrup to reduce the pain and swelling, you also give him an antihistamine like cetrizine syrup to prevent any further reaction.
you can cover him with an antibiotic like cefadroxil or flucloxacilin syrup to avoid any infection that might come up causing more trouble.
wish your son a quick recovery
thanks and takecare.
