Can Being Hungover From Drinking Result In Vomiting And Dizziness?

I drank a lot of alcohol last night, now today after vomiting a lot I drank lots of water then threw it up also but it was green with black specks. I haven't eaten anything this morning and only drank water and I'm pretty sure I already threw up everything I ate yesterday, so the black specks are worrying me. I'm also dizzy and lightheaded and feel faint and clammy sometimes. I took excedrin this morning also. I'm a 25 year old female

Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

High amount of alcohol use can damage esophagus & stomach directly and by increasing acidity/acid reflux. This damage lead to reflux spasm, pain in epigastrium/chest/throat, feeling of something in throat and vomiting. Green and black specks in vomits may be due to bile and clotted blood.

You may need investigations like upper GI endoscopy to diagnose and treat problem. For treatment stop further alcohol use and meet physician for treatment of acidity with medicines like ranitidine.

Wishing you good health and all the best.
