Can Binocular Vision Dysfunction Cause Tiredness And Eye Strain?
I was diagnosed with a vision issue last year, binocular vision dysfunction. When I get tired my brain acts like it is shutting down. My vision gets very strained, I feel like I go into slow motion, I get unsteady, and my speech becomes very slow and deliberate. If I lay down and rest my brain and eyes for 30-60 min. I can usually function again. I cannot drive when this happens. It is same feeling that a person has when they are coming out of antiseptic, things seem to be in slow motion, and loud. I m not sure if this is a vision issue or a brain issue or both. Thank you.
Yes, it can cause eyes strain. Since binocular vision is not there. So dysfunction of vision will be having amblyopia. So it will be risky to drive. or any other personal work doing you will develop squint. By suppressing the bad vision. It will affect both. Binocular vision is essential. So for this you have to consult an eye specialist and should go for refraction.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
