Hello,

First calculate on which day of period you had intercourse, as in a menstrual cycle of 28 days 14 days are safe and 14 days are unsafe, counting from day 1, 7 days before and 7 days after your periods are safe days and there is no need of taking any emergency contraceptives pill. But if done during the rest of the 14 days, take Unwanted 72 pill as soon as possible within 72 hours, failure rate is 5 percent, when you take emergency pill you get withdrawal bleeding within 7 days, if proper bleeding for 1 or 2 days means you are safe otherwise there are chances of pregnancy. Your normal periods will be delayed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
