General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

She is not having a period for 4 months. So according to my opinion cause for the delayed period should be searched at such a young age.

She should stop taking a pill and investigate with ultrasonography of abdomen and pelvis with special emphasis on genital and esp. Ovary.

She also needs to be investigated with serum TSH estimation, random blood sugar estimation, DHEA estimation, FSH and LH estimation along with AMH estimation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
