Can Birth Control Pills Cause Vaginal Dryness?

yeah hi ive been in a relationship wit my girlfriend for a little over a year, when we was six months into the relationship she got on the birth control pill, strangely after that her vagina stopped getten "wet" like we legit have to use lubricant everytime we want to have sex, now she's been off the pill for a couple months and the problem continues, so I'm wondering if the birth control did this to her ? Is there a way to fix it ? Or just something that's going on ? Please help
