General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Many times, it is normal to have an absence of menses during depo shots which hinder the hormone levels to suppress the ovulation.

* It is normal to have such spotting occasionally, but if on the regular persistent basis or annoying, one may approach with consultant gynec to rule out any underlying infection sort of things and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
