Can Bloating, Excessive Mucus Release And Small Stools Be Connected To Effexor ER?
I am taking Efexor ER. I have had years of bloating, excessive production of mucous and very small stools like grape size. I had a test for my transit time and it was very slow at 6 days. I slso see the tiny white little pills that are inside the Efexor capsule in my little stools everyday. Could any of this be connected to the Efexor ?

Hello,
It is due to gastritis associated with Effexor. Always take the pill after food to prevent gastritis and bloating.
You can also take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole to prevent gastritis related side effects.
